Established in May, 1986 Victim Outreach Information (VOI) is a private non-profit 501(c) 3 agency whose mission is to support victims of crime and trauma in Jefferson County. Funding is provided through private grants, benefits, VOCA, STOP VAWA, VALE and the cities we serve. We provide emotional support, advocate for victim's rights and offer resources that promote safety, healing and hope.
Our service area includes the cities of Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Mountain View, Lakeside and Edgewater, Colorado (total population 165,000) as well as students, faculty and staff of the Colorado School of Mines (population 6,000). We also assist victims of crimes that occur in other cities or states but who need local support and resources.
